Carlos Quentin not on All Star Ballot!?!?!?

I know this isnt long enough, but it really upsets me that when i went to vote on the All Star ballot, Quentin was nowhere to be found and it will extremely upset me and piss me off if he is snuffed, so I will say either boycott it or put him in as a write in. He's leading the AL in HR's( well actually tied) but still the same, and he's been are most clutch hitter, I mean to go from not making the Diamondbacks to leading the Sox in HR's and hitting, I'd say that deserves something.

Carlos deserves better!

Mike Brown #30

I figured I'd go through with this, kind of a just in case diary. But Mike Brown has been an influence to me and I hope to many other Bears or football fans. If he wouldve stayed healthy theres no doubt that #30 would be retired. I hate the fact that he's gone year in and year out for the Bears to try and stay healthy but it just wont happen for him. He's been a leader of the team and an influence to alot of the safeties and cornerbacks in the league. I figured to add to this I would put some stats up for him and maybe a sexy little poll for everyone to respond to.

Career Stats/8 seasons(4 of which are injured ridden):

342 tackles
4 Sacks
22 Pass Def
15 INTs
272 yds(in INT)
4 TD's

I just basically want people to respon with what they liked about Mike Brown, please dont be dumb and post negative things....thanks guys!

QB Situation

I'm doin this mainly out of curiosity and boredom.  But with the upcoming draft and needs at numerous positions, is a new QB on hold til maybe next season?  It seems to me that we have more important needs at the RB position and the O Line. In my opinion I'm ok right now w/ Orton and Grossman and someone in the draft. I think the verdict is still out on both of em, for Orton we really haven't seen enough of him, he could end up being the next big thing (I'm just throwing that out there). A lot of QB's that sit on the bench and absorb information turn out to be at the worst a decent starter. I still have that gut feeling that our starter for the future is one of them, but I'm probably wrong. With all this being said, if we build up a good O Line and draft a good running back that is better than what we have and can at least get 1,000 yds this season, would we all be ok with it? I'm not trying to predict the season record, just simply asking everyone if the QB situation is ok to put on hold.
